Respawn disclose details on Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass and also an event of new limited-time
On May 30, after a long wait, Respawn finally fed its longing fans with an announcement about new content coming soon to Apex Legends.
The declaration post includes details about the upcoming Season 2 Battle Pass, as well as a new limited-time event known as The Hunt.
First details on Season 2 Battle Pass
After consideration to a lacklustre Season 1 Battle Pass, it seems that Respawn has taken careful note of public feedback and made some major enhancements for Season 2.
The next Battle Pass will include weekly and daily challenges, three additional legendary skins, a reduced time to reach level 100, and three new content categories that will replace badge and stat trailer rewards.
In addition, players will now receive enough Crafting Metal from the total of the pass to craft Legendary Item they choose.
Limited-time event “The Legendary Hunt”
In addition to the Season 2 Battle Pass, Respawn also conversed a “The Legendary Hunt” the first ever limited-time event in Apex Legends.
The mode lasts for two weeks, include a Legendary Hunt Challenges, Apex Elite Queue, Battle Pass Bonus XP, and Double XP.
The Legendary Hunt is expected to go live sometime next week, likely to be on Tuesday, June 4, which is when more details about the mode are set to be announced.
First Details on Season 2 Battle Pass
At 10:00 a.m. PST on Saturday, June 8, we’ll be distributing some of the first details on Apex Legends Season 2 as part of our EA PLAY live stream. Today, we want to tell you just about a few of the high-level improvements that you can expect from our second Battle Pass. So, without any further ado, we’ll let our Lead Product Manager, Lee Horn, tell you more. Take it away, Lee!
Some of the Coming Improvements just on TL; DR
- Level up via Weekly and Daily Challenges.
- Time to Battle Pass level 100 should be significantly compact.
- You’ll earn enough Crafting Metal rewards from the full reward track to craft an imaginaryitem, or whatever your heart desires.
- Three additional legendaryskins added to the rewards path.
- Three entirely new content groupings replace stat tracker and badge rewards.
Weekly/Daily Challenges and Improving the Drudge
Starting in Season 2, you’ll be talented to widespread a mix of Daily and Weekly Challenges to level up your Battle Pass. If you miss a start late or few weeks, your Weekly Challenges will still be around for you when you return, and you can widespread them all at once.
While we don’t want to familiarize wacky challenges that drastically warp the way you play the game, these tasks should offer some interesting variant from game-to-game. This means all players should feel more rapid Battle Pass development and the journey will hopefully be more interesting and fun.
Earn Enough Metals crafting for a Legendary Item
We’re swapping the Voice Lines with Crafting Metal rewards. You’ll now be able to earn enough Crafting Metals to craft the legendaryitem of your choosing. So, if there’s an existing item you’ve been wanting, you’ll be able to get it in Season 2. You can get extra Crafting Metals from the various Apex Pack rewards in the Battle Pass.
We have a lot more to tell you about what you can expect in Season 2, so ensure you tune into our live stream on Saturday, June 8 to hear what else we have in store.
